Event Description: On Sunday, October 5, 2008, the Feast of the Dedication of St. Paul’s K Street, The Right Reverend John Bryson Chane, D.D., Bishop of Washington, will preside at Solemn Evensong and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. After Benediction, Bishop Chane will bless and dedicate St. Paul’s new and renovated facilities. Reception to follow in the new Atrium and the new choir room. Many visitors and guests are expected, among them Jeffrey Smith, former Director of Music, and Giles Brigtwell, former Interim Director of Music, both of whom will play part of an extended prelude prior to the service at 5:30 pm.
In the morning there will be only one Mass at 10:00 am, so that the whole parish family may come together as one. Fr. Alan Gyle, Vicar of St Paul’s Knightsbridge in London will preach.
