The Episcopal Church Welcomes You

Lifelong Christian Formation

Welcome to the Congregational Learning web site.  As part of the Evangelism and Congregational Life Center we are committed to providing those individuals who are responsible for congregational learning with resources and information which you will find useful as you provide your worshiping community with exciting faith formation opportunities.

Faith formation is a life long process and we are excited about our department’s new structure.  There are now four distinctive areas of focus in Congregational Learning; Children, Youth, Adult and Older Adults. Although each area has a staff member specializing in a particular chronological age it is important to remember that each area is woven together, providing continuous and consistent formational education and experiences.  The foundation of scripture, tradition and reason are trends that weave together all generations. It is through the telling of individual stories, the community story and the great story people presently affiliated with the institutional church as well as those beyond the threshold of church doors can explore, re-discover and expand their own lifelong faith formation journey.
