  LERN is the ELCA's counterpart to the EDEO network. The executive boards of both EDEO and LERN consult with one another, and coordinate a workshop at the annual National Workshop on Christian Unity.
  
  
• Catholic Association of Diocesan Ecumenical and Interreligious Officers (CADEIO)
  Formed shortly after Vatican II, the NADEO is the Roman Catholic counterpart to EDEO. The National Workshop on Christian Unity is the outgrowth of informal meetings between the two groups in the late 1960s-early 1970s.
