Q: What is a Proforma?
A: A proforma is documentation of any capital expenditures (land, building, materials, equipment or vehicle) of more than $1,000. Some examples include: a copy of a contract, signed vendor's estimate, or W 2 forms. For store purchases of items such as computer, electronic equipment, etc., we also accept printed copies of online order forms that clearly state official vendor name and total, as well as voided receipts. If a grant is made, the project will have to submit a proforma along with the Bishop's authorization letter.
|
Q: What is the difference between a proforma and a budget proposal?
A: You can use any research that you have done for your proposed budget toward the proforma. The proforma is an invoice or estimate of the cost of a capital expense, on vendor's letterhead and signed by the vendor.
