The Bishop Suffragan for Federal Ministries cares for  Episcopalians serving -- Lay Persons, Chaplains and Congregations -- and serves these populations through the recruitment and sustainment of chaplains in their midst. The Mission Leadership Center under the direction of the Rev. Margaret Rose facilitates the process of endorsement required for certification by  professional associations -- the Association of Professional Chaplains, the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy.
