Mission Center: The Episcopal Church: Community

Episcopal Migration Ministries

Where We Work

Although refugees have the spirit and will necessary to overcome hardship and trauma, most will still require support to establish themselves in a new country. To help meet refugees’ initial resettlement needs, Episcopal Migration Ministries works with affiliate offices in communities across the United States.

Our partner agencies provide refugees assistance with housing and employment services, as well as orientation in their new community. Affiliates also assist with health screenings, English-language training and school enrollments. Our goal is to help refugees achieve self-sufficiency as quickly as possible.
