Refugees are ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances, fleeing persecution, oppression and war. Episcopal Migration Ministries partners with the U.S. Department of State to help refugees resettle in communities across the nation, giving them a chance to rebuild their lives.

Refugee Resettlement
In 2008, we resettled more than 4,000 refugees in the United States. Our network of affiliate offices, faith groups, and volunteers helps us extend hospitality to the stranger in our midst.

Advocacy
Many refugees and immigrants are often voiceless and invisible. We affirm the work of our colleagues in the Episcopal Church Office of Government Relations, which advocates on behalf of the uprooted here and abroad.
