Mission Center: The Episcopal Church: Partnerships

Grants

Sometimes people need a little extra money to further God's work in the world. We help support them by offering funding through grants.

Our greatest grant resource comes from the United Thank Offerings. Each year approximately $2 million in grants is distributed from these offerings, which are used to significantly impact the lives of women and children across the Anglican Communion.

We also have (some) funding for overseas leadership training grants, which, although modest, help create opportunities for seminary or theology students born outside of the United States. These grants allow these students to further their studies in their homeland or abroad.

We provide these grants knowing that people who receive them today will continue God’s work in their communities tomorrow.

United Thank Offering
United Thank Offering supports projects that address poverty of women and children, make a significant impact, demonstrate new and innovative work, and are a part of a planned diocesan/provincial strategy.  All applications must be submitted to the UTO Office from the diocesan office.
